Two dairy farm workers, aged 27 and 54, were found dead inside a milk cooling tank during a rescue operation on a farm in Humansdorp, EC. SAPS Search and Rescue, EMS and Fire Rescue teams used specialised rope and breathing equipment to access the confined space. The bodies were recovered from the water and declared dead on scene. Police have opened an inquest docket to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
