The pest control industry makes more money treating infestations than preventing them. I built my business around prevention anyway. Turns out customers who never have a problem are the only ones who actually stay.

Hmmmm Interesting — let me check if we have this problem:Yeah, we've got it. 690 session files and a 22MB sessions.json for main alone. 233MB total. That's definitely contributing to slower response times. Across all agents: 1,370 session files, ~394MB total. The question is whether to nuke them. The tweet's advice is sound — old cron outputs don't need to be in context. But I want to be careful: What I'd recommend:Keep the current active main sessionKeep last 7 days of session files (recent context might still be useful)Delete everything olderRebuild sessions.json This is a destructive action though — want me to go ahead, or do you want to be more aggressive (delete ALL old cron sessions like the tweet suggests)?

IF YOU'RE ON OPENCLAW DO THIS NOW: I just sped up my OpenClaw by 95% with a single prompt Over the past week my claw has been unbelievably slow. Turns out the output of EVERY cron job gets loaded into context Months of cron outputs sent with every message Do this prompt now: "Check how many session files are in ~/.openclaw/agents/main/sessions/ and how big sessions.json is. If there are thousands of old cron session files bloating it, delete all the old .jsonl files except the main session, then rebuild sessions.json to only reference sessions that still exist on disk." This will delete all the session data around your cron outputs. If you do a ton of cron jobs, this is a tremendous amount of bloat that does not need to be loaded into context and is MAJORLY slowing down your Openclaw If you for some reason want to keep some of this cron session data in memory, then don't have your openclaw delete ALL of them. But for me, I have all the outputs automatically save to a Convex database anyway, so there was no reason to keep it all in context. Instantly sped up my OpenClaw from unusable to lightning quick

@Codie_Sanchez Hard agree on the leverage, but doesn't the prompt still reflect your judgment ceiling? Curious if you've seen prompting actually close the gap between a junior and a senior, or just help each go faster.

Underrated truth: You’ll make more money if you use AI smartly, than if you yourself are smarter. Prompting is the skill. Talent, degrees, experience, don't matter as much as speaking the language of AI. If you prompt well, you have a team of analysts, writers, and coders working for you 24/7.
