📢 #UNDPinPakistan’s RR @Samuelrizk addressed the 3rd Pakistan Climate Conference hosted by @oicci_pakistan, alongside @SindhGovt CM @muradalishahppp. He stressed the urgent need for climate finance & public-private partnerships to accelerate sustainable solutions for 🇵🇰. Hon. CM highlighted climate-resilient education & youth-led innovation as key pillars of Sindh’s strategy to tackle climate change. Dr. Rizk also presented the OICCI Sustainability Awards, recognizing private-sector climate champions' outstanding contributions to advancing #ClimateAction. 🌱🏆 #SDG13 #SDG17

Under the chairmanship of @sindhgov1 @planninggovt @NajamShah, @SindhSDGsUnit and #UNDPinPakistan’s ARR @AmmaraDurrani presented the SDG Plus Program Outlook 2025 to the project board at the first Project Steering Committee meeting. Chairman directed the deepening and acceleration of #SDGs in the province with KPI development of all departments at district level. The forum resolved to have quarterly project progress review meetings to achieve SDGs Plus targets. #SustainableDevelopment #Sindh #SDGPlus

The Unit had a meaningful day with the students of Govt. High School Malanhore Veena in Tharparkar, exploring traditional Thari cuisine & visiting local temples. In collab. with Indigo Textiles & @TharEduAlliance the project will support a STEM lab at the school. 📚 🧪 #sdg4

At the 4th #ESG Workshop, organized by @oicci_pakistan on the Prospects of Green Financing in 🇵🇰, #UNDPinPakistan’s ARR @AmmaraDurrani presented emerging opportunities & strategic global outlay, highlighting SDG & climate aligned investment options & instruments. Day 1 of the mission featured a call-on meeting with Secretary @eadgop Dr. Kazim Niaz, as well as a deep-dive session with stakeholders of Swat Motorway Phase II project to mobilize international financing.
