I am a grown up - and as such I sometimes retweet people that I don't agree with on everything.

This is Sean Egan. He joined Morrisons at the age of 17. After 29 years of dedication at supermarket chain, he was dismissed for confronting a shoplifter, which led to a scuffle with thief who spat at him. A shameful decision by @Morrisons. He should be thanked, not sacked.

No, you cannot walk 10,000 steps daily, get 8 hours of sleep, cook every night, clean every day, take care of a family, make time for your own hobbies, and still be productive at work every day. This is not just propaganda, it is nonsense. Free yourself from it.

No, I don't want to sign into your fucking website with fucking Google. No one has ever done that. No one has ever gone to a random website they found through a search engine and signed in with fucking Google. Why would anyone even do that? Why the fuck would you even ask me to?

@RegHumber @RachelCDailey_ Because a lot of hate filled arseholes will start reporting their neighbour down the street that they've decided 'doesn't look disabled to me' and that could cause genuine people real problems.

@KymriskaDraken @OfcomCommentary Why do you need to show digital ID to pick up a prescription or do some shopping online? It's like you have a total 'papers please" existence to do normal things . If you want that then ok but the rest of us don't.

We have had digital ID in Sweden for at least 15 years. It's used for many online things: shopping, communicating with the authorities, prescriptions, doctors, libraries and more. It's also used for collecting certain types of mail and identifying yourself when collecting prescriptions. It hasn't done us any harm. Neither have physical ID cards.

Censorship Watch UK@OfcomCommentary·
🚨 It's no coincidence. The UK, EU, Australia, Canada and other Anglosphere nations are rolling out "Age Verification" and Digital ID systems at the EXACT SAME TIME.. This isn't about protecting kids. It's a coordinated power grab to control the internet, embed permanent censorship, and lock in mass surveillance across the West. If we don't resist now, the freedoms we've taken for granted will be gone forever.
Michael Reiners@MCRReiners

J Treek looks at the normalisation of Digitised ID in Britain. A government may, with ease, use such a system to ostracise, de-bank and deny you services & entry to public life. All things the state already does. Read it in @ReinersProject: reiners.org.uk/digital-id-the…

UK GOVERNMENT THAT FALSELY ACCUSED 686,000 PEOPLE JUST GOT BANK SURVEILLANCE POWERS This April @DWPgovuk got powers letting banks flag your account for benefit fraud. No court order needed. Michelle Burns claimed PIP for 6 years. DWP told her she was never entitled to it and owed £28,000. She had nightmares about being arrested. It was entirely the DWP's mistake. @GBNEWS A single mother was falsely accused of owing £12,000. The DWP actually owed her money. @BigIssue 686,756 official-error debt cases were opened in one year alone. PIP fraud rate: 0.2%. Potential false flags from the new bank checks: 200,000 people. The DWP's accounts have been qualified by the UK's chief auditor for 37 years running. Same department. New surveillance powers. Zero accountability for the carnage already caused. @BigBrotherWatch warned this is a second-tier justice system for the poorest. They're right. Whenever I remember how I quit smoking, it cracks me up every time. I started smoking from a young age, so naturally I had lots of friends who smoked. One day I was with this close friend of mine, we were out fishing and he began talking about quitting smoking. He suggested we place a bet of $50 to see who would outlast the other. We continued drinking and trash-talking until the bet went up to $300, and you know what they say...... a bet is a bet. Fortunately for me, I was too broke at the time to afford losing a bet like that, so I went weeks without smoking. My friend came around after about a month and admitted he had started smoking again, so he lost the bet. I was tempted to go back, but I was feeling so much better without the cigarettes, so I just kept it going. It's been 5 years since this happened btw

If Elon moves forward with biometric authentication I will drop X like a bad habit & so will millions of others. Good luck with that. The arrogance of thinking this data harvesting platform is worth agenda 2030s digital prison is wild. Some will go for it. Many won't.

THE GOVERNMENT IS NOW LEGALLY ALLOWED TO SPY ON YOUR BANK ACCOUNT The DWP just got the power to make your bank report on you. Starting this month. Under the Public Authorities (Fraud, Error and Recovery) Act, banks can now be ordered to scan your account and flag you to the government. No warrant. No suspicion. No court. If you're on Universal Credit, ESA, or Pension Credit and your balance looks funny to an algorithm, you're flagged. Then a caseworker decides your fate. They're calling it the biggest fraud crackdown in a generation. Here's what they're not leading with: only 0.2% of PIP claimants were found to be committing fraud. And overpayments caused by DWP's own errors total billions every year UK Parliament, but mysteriously that part isn't getting the surveillance treatment. If you scan over 20 million accounts and even 1% get wrongly flagged, that's 200,000 people accused of nothing. The Post Office did something similar. We remember how that ended. Silkie Carlo of Big Brother Watch put it: this creates a second-tier justice system reserved for people who rely on welfare. They don't get due process. They get an algorithm. The poorest people in the country are now the most surveilled. The DWP's accounts have been qualified by auditors for 37 consecutive years due to their own errors. But sure, the problem is the claimants. Source: @GBNEWS, @YahooNewsTopics, April 2026

Billionaires don’t have bank accounts like you and me. They have art collections,Yachts,Mansions,Stocks. None of it gets taxed until they sell it. So they just never sell it. They borrow against it instead. Live off the loans. Pay almost nothing. Then when they die, their kids inherit it all tax-free. The wealth never gets taxed, It just gets passed down. And we wonder why the gap keeps getting wider.

This man was offered tens of millions of dollars and said no. His name is Jean-Baptiste Kempf. He’s the creator of VLC, the free media player with the orange traffic cone logo that has been downloaded over 6 billion times. Companies offered him the money to put ads in it. He refused every single offer. VLC has no ads, no subscriptions, no tracking, and no paid features. It never has. When asked why, he said: “Money is a prison.“
