If I didn't know better, I would suggest that the South African @GovernmentZA is actively doing everything in its power to foment a civil war in our country. He doesn't. How does the @MYANC imagine ANYONE being able to weather a 20% increase in the cost of living? The price of fuel has a bearing on EVERYTHING. Food. Transports. Goods. All of it is affected. ... and don't tell me that this is all due to the Iran conflict. We get most of our oil from places like Angola and Nigeria. Why, then, are we being punished like this at the pump? To all my American followers: after Wednesday, South Africans will be paying the equivalent of $9/gallon for diesel.

Carrims lawyer ( Adv Kameel Premhid) has indicated that the client has been subjected to death threats. And has been under surveillance. Carrims legal team argues that they didn't want to disclose the application's merits and claims prejudice. Carrim is set to appear before the commission on the 9th and 10th of March. Madlanga questions the impact of the threats on his scheduled appearance before the commission. Carrim's legal team argues that their client will now be exposed if its known he'll testify on Monday and Tuesday. Madlanga says Carrim doesn't want the public to know when he'll testify Carrim's legal representation indicates their client seeks a balanced resolution. While he is prepared to provide testimony, appropriate protective measures must be implemented. Carrim's legal counsel asserts that the application has become moot. The disclosure of Carrim's subsequent actions to the opposing parties has prejudiced the situation.
