Abby Phillip questions if non-citizens voting in NJ is really fraud, because they may not have known they weren't supposed to vote. This is the actual argument they've been reduced to: Phillip: They might have cast a ballot because they just weren't aware that they were incorrectly put on the voter rolls. Jennings: They weren't aware that they weren't a citizen of the United States? Phillip: Is this is this accurately described as fraud when none of these people tried to register to vote? Jennings: They cast ballots! Phillip: Some people who are ineligible to vote are not aware that they are ineligible to vote. So they're now going with the 'some non-citizens are too stupid to know they're not supposed to vote so if they vote it's not really fraud' defense. Incredible.

Jake Tapper below actually invoked the Mazie Hirono 'why would illegals try to vote' routine: "Who's going to commit this kind of fraud knowing that they could be in prison for five years?"

These were the 1946 Gamecock-Clemson game when New York gangsters profited from selling counterfeit tickets. was able to copy these from the 1946 edition of The State Newspaper. The top one was the "real" one, and the bottom one was the "bogus" one. The other photo shows the A-I generated which gives a better look. @SirWilliamWebb

@C_3C_3 Why does Congress not have some providion for appearances periodically. I am sure if I did not show up for work for just 1 day that I would get a call and possibly a pink slip.

This interview should be studied by future generations. It's that crazy. 2019. Colbert interviews Ellen Page. Colbert opens by awkwardly making fun of how short Page is. Page then starts complaining that Hollywood is too binary. Page then claims that the world will end by 2030 because of climate change and says that climate change is as real as the Jussie Smollett attack. (Ironically, she was right about that.) Page ends with a very emotional performance, blaming Trump for the vicious, racist attack on Smollett. Wow.
