American is a healthy 28 year old, he decided to skip paying for health insurance this year because the cheapest plan was $900 per month with a high deductible He had to spend 2 nights in the ER without insurance, he breaks down the bill “This is my receipt from spending 2 days in the hospital: - It totaled about $24,000 - My CT scan alone was $8,300 - Laboratory, 6,000 - IV therapy, $1,020, $4,000 in total And while $24,000 seems like a lot of money, let me show you something. This is what I'm actually paying, $2,478 because when you don't have insurance, these hospitals give you a discount. They discounted $22,000 off of this bill” “But if I had insurance, I wouldn't have gotten that discount. So it would've been a $24,000 bill billed to my insurance, and then my insurance would've said, ‘Hey, you have a $5,000 deductible. You need to pay $5,000 for this last emergency room visit.’ Then you tack on the $900 a month that I'd be paying for that insurance. I'd be paying $20K this year for healthcare. So the craziest part about this is even if I have another hospital visit, by the end of this year, I'm still gonna be paying less than I would if I had insurance. I absolutely agree men should have their own spaces, no argument there. However if their aim is to understand this iteration of the war between the sexes in order to solve it, they need to begin with a full and true understanding of both male and female perspectives, which cannot happen without female input — whether in their discussion group, or in accurate surveying. The latter is what I was getting at. The slice of Gen Z marriages that I know — narrow but deep — does not match their description.

There's a giant divide among Gen Z on what the roles and expectations are between men and women. This isn't front-page news, yet, but it probably should be. Gabe Saint, TPUSA chapter president at the University of Wyoming, explains his experience: Men either don't feel free to be strong, masculine men, or they don't know how to be strong, masculine men. Young men feel like they are expected to be compliant worshipers of the women they date. Women are signaling to men that they expect them to shoulder the bulk of responsibility, but they also don't want them to have any authority in the relationship. The healthy balance of expectations and responsibilities is off and larger and larger numbers of young people are just opting out of wanting to get married etc. Hook up culture and animosity is filling the void. This is a bright, flashing red warning sign to anyone paying attention.

This is hugely deceptive and you know it. You have nothing but lies. You just keep sniffing around for new ways to steal taxpayers’ money — any little nook or cranny that isn’t subject to some tax or fee, you’ll grab it. We are taxed when we earn, taxed when we spend, taxed over and over on what we own… it goes on and on.
