This goes the other way as well. Mid level Shulk players are insanely carried. He really is just not that hard and auto wins many matchups I'm not making a qualitative assessment about the character. I just think this label for a character that does max 3 piece combos is funny

I find it so funny that in the year of our lord 2026 people still consider Shulk to be "potential man". What potential lol? He's Ike with some colors Shulk is carried by the fear of things he is simply not capable of. People hear the words dial storage and start shaking 😂
