@Chicago_History For 30 years as an adult Bucktown was home to me. Since 2020 I've been back in the family home in a Chicago suburb. At times the last 7 years have been a struggle but slowly making the house my own. I very rarely go back to Bucktown because that life chapter is over.

Bros, I have another film suggestion - A few people recommended Project Hail Mary, so I gave it a watch last night. It was so good. 😭 Again, reminds me of how movies used to be. Super lovely story. Trump and company would do everything to stop it, but that’s huge if they can. This current defense team, does not appear to be Bulldog Trial attorneys. That’s what it’s going to take. @PolitiBunny To make a long story short, I learned how to manage anxiety through cognitive behavior therapy. Very rarely do I get panic/anxiety attacks. Had a decent therapist. This was back in the late 1970s when CBT was first getting off the ground.

I’ve had issues with anxiety and panic attacks since I was nine years old, and over the years, I’ve been able to figure out how to either avoid an attack if I feel one coming on or talk myself down if I can’t stop it. That being said, as I’ve gotten older, the attacks are fewer but man, when I have one it just kicks my ass. Writing this as I’m coming down from one that had me convinced I was stroking out. Not fun. Not fun at all. lol I know, the last thing you want to read is that FOO has anxiety but I do. And it’s bad sometimes. Really bad. But I always come down, I’m always ok. I know plenty of people struggle with anxiety and panic as well, which is why I decided to share. If you have anxiety, if you have panic, like me, you’re ok. I remind myself … I remind you … just breathe. ❤️
