@SteveLovesAmmo That's cute, but AL has a high concentration of engineers and PhDs, largely driven by the aerospace and defense. HSV is frequently ranked among the top cities in the U.S. for engineers per capita and has a high concentration of Ph.D. holders due to NASA's MSFC and RSA.

It gets discouraging to hear that "we can't vote our way out". @RodDMartin has written a workable plan that we CAN vote our way out. We must hope and believe we can, combined with taking the right steps. The alternative is a nightmare I wouldn't wish on anyone.
Rod D. Martin@RodDMartin

A friend said “we can’t vote our way out” of all the corruption that now exists in our system. I disagree. I absolutely do believe we can vote our way out of this. Multiple steps required, though: 1. Take back education. Universal school choice laws like those newly passed in Florida, Texas, Arkansas and Indiana help. So does dismembering the federal Education Department. Critical thinking skills are necessary to overcome a generation of Critical Theory indoctrination. 2. Continue voting for leaders like Trump, DeSantis, Huckabee-Sanders, et al. who actually will go after the centers of corruption, and even more to the point, will go after the decades of bad Supreme Court precedent that gives the bureaucracy vastly more practical power than the elected branches. Overturning Chevron was big; overturning Humphrey's Executor may prove bigger. 3. Continue voting for the people who will nominate judges who are willing to follow the Constitution. The change from ten years ago, or twenty, is already just staggering. 4. Continue voting for leaders who will defund Democrat slush funds like USAID, who will repeal 139 federal regulations for every one new one, and who will meaningfully reduce the power to skim. 5. Continue adding layers of election security that will combat or prevent fraud that makes it harder to elect those people. 6. Continue voting for leaders who will prevent the sort of mass illegal immigration Biden encouraged, plainly for the purpose of "stuffing the electorate" and adding House seats and Electoral votes to blue states. 7. And above all, teach civics to a generation that doesn't understand it AT ALL. Our system is the best in the world. It is worth fighting for. But you can't fight for what you don't understand. BONUS ITEM: Fight these battles in the primary. Pick the best candidate possible. Then, if you don't get your way, beat the Democrat in November and come back next time to get a better nominee in the primary. Contrary to public belief, incumbents get beaten all the time. But the voters have to take responsibility or it doesn't happen. And leaders (like you and me) have to take responsibility for doing what we can, where we are, with what we have. I absolutely have not lost hope. I see how much we've achieved. I know what we can do. Now is the time to execute.

@Christi62736312 @DisaffectedPod I dress extremely well off of thrifted items. It's even easier now with apps like Poshmark and Mercari. My average cost per item is about 25 dollars.

Our standards for dress and deportment and health have fallen so low the US has turned into a nation of ugly slobs. That's why it's so nice to see a Melania Trump (or Catherine of Wales). Beautiful women, well-turned out, make the world a more beautiful place. I may be gay, but I crave looking at beautiful, elegant women. Humans *need* beauty. It's not an optional accessory. It's part of quality of life. More of that, please. -J

25% OF U.S. INFANTS NOW HAVE ZERO BIFIDOBACTERIA This keystone gut microbe is CRITICAL for healthy development. Its loss TRIPLES the risk of allergies, asthma and eczema. Hyper-vaccination, pesticides, antibiotics, C-sections, and formula feeding are wiping it out.

Khanna's record is a study in audience-driven positioning. For Indian-American Hindu donors, he co-architected Narendra Modi's invitation to address a joint session of Congress in 2023, then met privately with far-right Hindutva ideologue Abhijeet Iyer-Mitra during a 2023 India trip. He did this over the explicit objection of his own progressive colleagues, more than seventy of whom signed a letter raising human rights concerns about the Modi government. For Arab-American activists, he keynoted ArabCon 2025 in Dearborn, where panelists defended Hamas as legitimate resistance and laughed at the idea of condemning the October 7 attack. He took the stage and blamed AIPAC for distorting Democratic priorities. His one-word answer when asked why Democrats hate their voters... "money." For Twitch leftists, he publicly defended Hasan Piker in April. Piker is the streamer who said America deserved 9/11, said Hamas raping Israeli women on October 7 "doesn't change the dynamic for me," and said weeks later that "if you cared about Medicare fraud, you would kill Rick Scott." Khanna's framing... Democrats who refuse to engage with figures like Piker "will cost us future elections." For Bernie Sanders progressives, he co-introduced the wealth tax and continues to push Medicare for All. For Silicon Valley founders, until December 2025, he was their guy. Each constituency gets the version of Khanna that constituency wants. The pattern is the position. His personal finances run the same play. Khanna campaigns relentlessly against congressional stock trading. His wife's family trust made over 4,000 trades worth $103 million in the last twelve months. Over 35,000 trades since he took office in 2017. Lifetime trading volume above $620 million. The trust beat the S&P 500 by 112% from January 2024 through April 2026. Anthony Pompliano's verdict on the data... "Nancy Pelosi take a seat. There is a new king in town." The defense, every time... "It's my wife's premarital trust. I have no input." The same defense covers the Yandex purchase his wife's trust made on January 21, 2022. Three weeks before Russia invaded Ukraine. Khanna has been one of the loudest voices in Congress demanding sanctions on Russia, on Putin, on the oligarchs. His family's money was buying into Russia's flagship search engine on the eve of the invasion. The reporters who should be writing that story have not. In April 2026, when President Trump posted a Truth Social threat against Iran, Khanna's response was to call publicly for invoking the 25th Amendment to remove the President of the United States. The 25th Amendment exists for incapacity. Khanna treated a foreign policy disagreement as constitutional grounds for removal. Then pushed impeachment as the fallback. The Santa Clara County Democratic Party chair told San José Spotlight that this was a notable break for Khanna because he is normally "sensitive to Silicon Valley businesses." He is not sensitive anymore. He has decided his lane is hard left, and he is sprinting.

The Boise community held a candlelight vigil for Mora Gerety. Her family will never be whole. The media barely covered it. The man who killed her was an illegal alien who should have been deported years ago. Mora is why I support ICE. No more sanctuary excuses.
