Skyway Fire (KCFD20)

Missing Person Alert.

1/2 @PugetSoundFire @Southkingfire with a special showing from @PortofSeattle ARFF truck responded and are currently extinguishing a fire involving multiple trucks and equipment in the 35000blk of Frager Rd.

2/2 fire is now out and crews are mopping up. King County Sheriff’s Office Fire Investigators are en route to the scene. No injuries to the public or firefighters.

2/2 One person in an attached apartment was able to escape prior to FD arrival. This fire has been determined to be arson & the King County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. If you have info about the fire, please call 1-800-55-ARSON. @redcrossnorthwest is assisting residents

1/2 @skywayfire, assisted by @pugetsoundfire and @rentonrfa, responded to reports of smoke coming from an apartment building in the 6900 block of S 125th St. Upon arrival, units found the fire confined to a single room in the complex’s rental office.

2/2 no other victims were found. @KingCoMedicOne transported one to the trauma center with life threatening injuries. The fire was quickly contained and only affected one unit. Fire investigators are en route to the scene.

1/2 @PugetSoundFire received reports of smoke and an alarm sounding in the 17300 32nd Ave S. When they arrived they found a single apt unit with heavy smoke and reports of someone inside. The crew quickly rescued one child from the apartment.

@skywayfire @KingCoMedicOne and @PugetSoundFire are on scene of a serious accident at (SR900)MLK Jr Way S/57th Ave S. Fire crews will be clearing the incident shortly however there will likely be closed while WSP continues their investigation.

@SkywayFire is on scene of an apartment fire in the 6900 of S 123rd St. being assisted by @RentonRFA @PugetSoundFire @KingCoMedicOne and @Zone3FireRehab. Fire is contained and investors are en route. On patient being evaluated with non life threatening injuries

An entry crew has started to offload drums. Working through the truck to access the leaking container(s).

More photos from the scene. Crews are working quickly and safely to mitigate this incident @ecyseattle is aware of the situation and is en route to the scene.

The leak is confined to the incident scene and there is no public exposure or evacuation needs. Main threat is flammability in the direct area of the truck. That threat increases when items start to be accessed and moved.

Update: truck contains multiple drums of hazmat at lease one is leaking but not accessible. Currently a plan is being developed to access further into the truck and control the leak safely. More info to follow.

At 12:48 @skyway, @RentonRFA, @PugetSoundFire, & @KingCoMedicOne responded to an incident in the 13400 of MLK Jr Way S for 3 juvenile patients unresponsive 2 of the patients were transported in critical condition, one died at the scene. @KingCoSheriff is on scene investigating.
