@Pix_ssbu Was torn between the C1 and H2 when doing my picks. With the tweaks made to Brighton's second batch they were pretty much Britain's ultimate Atlantics and I love the flowing Billinton running plate....................just wish the cab had been updated.

If it was designed during the Big Four period, then it’ll have to be:
LMS: Fowler Royal Scot
LNER: Gresley B17
GWR: Collett 57xx
SR: Maunsell Z Class

I think I've made a post asking this before, but what's everyone's favorite Engine from each of the big four railways? Mine are: GWR 5600 LNER A1/A3 LMS Fowler 7F Southern Railway Lord Nelson
English

@Tapped549080 it's pretty rare for a 125 to be without the other except when being serviced etc. With all coaches normally between them they couldn't really communicate with each other either except by horn or relaying messages by a 3rd party.

@Webby_vduck 'Duke was right, engines should be seen and not heard' he thought. 'I think it's nice.'

The old cab looks ugly

Unpopular opinions on No. 3 Sir Haydn (Corris Railway No. 3)?
English

Trust it's those built in Big Four era only, but ones in brackets would be the answer if it just needs to sport the company's ID 😛
V4 (Gresley cab C1)
Streamlined Coronation (Jones Tank or Drummond)
School perhaps, like their compact power (SECR D)
14XX (Armstrong Class 7)

@danielthedanke1 @SortaScouse The height is the main difference. The new Corris build is in the style of the Falcon trio, but the height is about the same as Sir Haydn's TR one. Back in the day it didn't seem to be such an issue with shorter welsh crews, but you can see the needed leaning in the early TR pic.

English

@SortaScouse This is just my lack of understanding of no.3 but what actually is it that makes the new cab more comfortable than the Corris cab?
English

Bate cab is better than the Corris cab
