@trystanbending Exactly might be old fashioned but I rather watch a player and see how they play, if you see someone who fits how you want to play get them, stats ok might not be great but you can work on it

@smitler1993 Definitely mate. Same with data approaches to signings, stats don’t mean anything when arriving in the Championship. How many players arrive with good looking stats and don’t cut it.

Hull City finished 23rd / 24th for XG in the Championship this season and have just gained promotion to the Premier League. Pretty nuts, but once again proves that stats don’t completely define a team. Incredible job by Jakirovic, Oli Mcburnie deserves huge praise, so clinical.

@nickyfran75 @egansmind Any good manager can adapt to the players he works with, this nonsense of the tactical stubbornes like martin was is ridiculous

@scfcthomas Thats fair, glad we kept vip as idah wasn't really fully fit until the last run of the season for us

@smitler1993 We were in the process of selling Vipotnik to Slovan Bratislava until he scored a few goals in a week at the end of August. Idah signed to be the starting 9 but never got the chance due to Vipotnik’s form. We don’t spend £6m on competition.

Remember when a large portion of Swansea fans thought we were above bringing Oli McBurnie back last summer?

@JordanWebber96 He really bottled it, and that end of season form really cost them massively, the football was so poor and slow but fair play hull done a great job on them

At the time I didn’t know what to expect, but I’m glad we eventually ended up with Vitor Matos over Kim Hellberg… YJB. 🦢

@edwardbrgr Will say theres no excuses for these things but seem very isolated incidents with regards to him, bale has done it far more often but not given as much flack and believe tom cruise has before, one of the camera from season 2 spoke about it, and makes you think somethings off

Edward Burger (not Berger) ❤️🌈
Mind you, one of the reasons why George Miller and Charlize Theron had a tough time making Mad Max Fury Road was because Hardy was often late to the set. So yeah, this isn't surprising

Tom Hardy has been fired from ‘MOBLAND’ and won't return for Season 3. He allegedly clashed with producers after being consistently late to set and attempting to give notes & change dialogue on the series. (Source: puck.news/newsletter_con…)

@SleepyInSA2 Probably only admitted to those 3 game because firstly they didnt win any of those games and second they can be like, well it didnt help us so we shouldn't be punished harshly

Yeah, they're lucky to avoid a harsher punishment here. No way the scope was only the three games they admitted.

🚨 @mjshrimper on #SaintsFC and Spygate: “The key evidence was messages between Tonda Eckert and analysts. There appears to have been pushback from the analysts, ‘I’m not sure we should be doing this, I don’t want to do this.’ “Eckert telling them to get on with it, telling them, ‘I hope you come back with better stuff this time, because you didn’t come back with great stuff the previous time.’” [via @TheAthleticFC Podcast]

@lucyjaynewhite1 Well he wasn't replaced by guehi, he was replaced by Dan Burns in the squad, Guehi is England's best CB at the moment, if he's legal, eligible and worked his arse off then he should represent England, or you just don't want black players playing for England

Harry Maguire, who is English and Northern Irish… … has been demographically replaced in the England World Cup team by an African named ‘Addji Keaninkin Marc-Israel Guéh’ born in Ivory Coast. What’s the point in a ‘national’ football team if someone who is NOT from that nation can join? Maguire should play for England. Guéh should play for Ivory Coast. Common sense. I’m sure Maguire isn’t even allowed to contest this decision because, as his shirt says in the photo below, ‘no room for racism’.

@ScottJonesy Just because there was no hint at there being an unhappy set, doesn't mean things weren't happening... It's silly to go against the report unless you have concrete proof. It's like I said before in a previous comment. No matter who the star may be, being professional is a MUST!

Mobland Season 2 was majority filmed by me. Strand-on-the Green, Chiswick House, Chiswick Police Station. Tom Hardy was on set early doors (ask the Mums who were doing school drop-off 🤣) and often late into the evening. I spoke to SCORES of crew, some main actors and a handful of extras (some of whom I'm still in contact with) There was NEVER even a hint of this being an unhappy set. This seems VERY odd.
