Did Arrowhead forget that mechs aren’t the only thing affected by enemies doing more durable damage? They buffed the durable damage of every enemy in the new patch to compensate for the mech buffs (they are more like fixes than buffs tbh) and now stuff like the bastion tank, FRV and turrets feels like they are made out of cardboards

IMO this is a very niche explanation and fails the Occam’s razor test. The anti-correlation between neurodegeneration and cancer cuts across specific types of these diseases. So it’s not just cancers that metastasize to the brain and Alzheimer’s. The evidence I’ve seen over the last decade on this topic suggests that peoples underlying genetics pushes them one way or another. Either your cells are too robust making cancer too likely or your cells are too weak making neurodegeneration more likely. So it’s not some Rube Goldberg explanation that academic journals like to publish, but an amorphous explanation fitting with Darwin and thereby not publishable.
