Just to be clear, health (NHS) is a devolved matter but almost the entire budget is determined by what the U.K. government decide. A useless U.K. govt that can’t see the value in investing in the health of the people will affect the NHS in all four countries.

@JeremyVineOn5 Yes, the NHS should charge for the care towards self-inflicted ailments, i.e., drunks, partakers in drugs, smokers, and the obese! Smokers should not get lung transplants unless they pay for them!

@MyGlasgowCC It seems GCC bin men now have x-ray vision! They were able to assess the contents of 10 permitless brown bins without lifting the lids and emptied them in the truck! Meanwhile, dafty here pays full price for a 9 month permit.....go figures 🤷‍♀️

The allegations against Russell Brand are horrifying, & the investigative reporting behind them exemplary. BUT he’s denied them & language being used on here - his accusers being labelled ‘victims’ or ‘survivors’ etc - infers guilt + criminality. He's entitled to due process.
