The reason there is no cease-fire is Iran no longer has a functioning government. Trump negotiated with one of the larger factions. There are 24 factions Not all of them want peace. Not all of them will even negotiate. So what is Trump doing? It should be completely obvious to anyone who is not intentionally not wanting to understand. He is pitting the factions against each other with competing interests for money and power and safety. And when one of them betrays the other, they will take care of the bad one. That will frustrate them greatly, causing them again to turn on each other because there is no longer any single central authority. This is absolutely brilliant, but if you think it’s gonna mean peace, if you think the Strait is really going to be open, and if you think Iran has surrendered and decided to play nice, you are delusional. If you think Trump wants to murder 90 million people you are beneath delusional: you are intentional. So chill out and watch the show: it is a master class. And yes, I’m not predicting it. Since we have alot of dumb people on this app, let me explain to you how the United States is losing this war as of this moment. 1. The IRGC is still in charge, they're awful, they will execute thousands in the next 2 weeks alone during this break. They run this country still, we executed the top 200 or whatever, they're already replaced 2. They are going to collect tolls on Hormuz, they were getting zero 45 days ago, they will use this money to rebuild all we destroyed. 3. Uranium, they still have it, our literal goal was to get it and end their nuclear ambitions. Hegseth said we accomplished all our goals today, I think his hair gel seeped into his brain bc this was the goal and we haven't done it yet. 4. We've managed to make many of our friends hate us. I'm happy we're out of this mess bc we should have never been in it to begin with. In life though if you start something you better finish it but Trump couldn't bc doing so would have caused a recession and crashed our markets and don loves his markets. He always does whatever he has to do to save markets and that's what I love about him as a trader. He bit off more than he could chew, now his PR team is spinning this as a win. In the history of all wins I've never seen a win where your opponent ends up in a stronger position than where they started and that is where Iran is thinking they won this and collecting more money than ever. If you think we won, you're dumb. We set them back a little bit that's about all, this 2 week ceasefire hopefully ends in us accepting we lost a dumb war we started and we move on but no we won nothing.

Iran absolutely put that statement out. And it absolutely doesn’t reflect the actual deal terms. It’s the face-saving layer. The dignity makeup. Tehran needs to tell its own people that they won. That’s how regimes survive moments like this. They sign the surrender and then go home and tell everyone they won. CNN’s error wasn’t reporting that the statement existed. The error was framing it as the definitive Iranian position rather than what it obviously was: domestic propaganda designed to disguise a retreat. Any serious analyst looking at that statement would have immediately recognized it as the regime talking to its own audience, not a real account of what was agreed to. CNN either didn’t see that or didn’t care because the headline was too good. Traditional media can’t distinguish between what a regime says for domestic consumption and what actually happened in the negotiation. This is the noise machine operating as designed. It’s not broken. It’s working perfectly for what it’s built to do. Generate engagement. Drive narratives. Manufacture confusion.
