@NadiaWhittomeMP Men (trans women) still have the right to screening if they suspect breast cancer (very rare), don’t need cervical screening as they have no vagina, just a rot pocket created by ghoulish surgeons. But let’s face it, most trans women still have their penis, making them AGP’s.

While it appears that the government has successfully pushed back on some particularly harmful elements in the previous draft, the new Code of Practice will still lead to the exclusion of trans people from services and facilities that they have used without issue for a very long time. This will do nothing to improve women’s lives and the many struggles we face, but it will put trans people (and anyone perceived as trans) at increased risk of discrimination, harassment and violence. The Code unfortunately still represents the culmination of years of anti-trans campaigning from a small, well-funded minority who have had outsized influence in the media and in politics, and have weaponised the courts for their own ends. The legal situation for trans people is now deeply incoherent and means that it is untenable for them to be able live their lives with dignity. This is completely out of line with the values of equality that a Labour government is meant to champion. Instead of making this Code statutory, the government should be legislating to clarify and protect trans people’s rights, privacy and inclusion.

In a world’s first, The United Kingdom moves to make it illegal for trans women to pee. Welcome to 2026 where laws discriminating against and segregating minorities are now commonplace again

I know you like to keep abreast of my adventures so today I have excelled myself. I’ve come to Woodbridge in Suffolk to spend a few days on my sailing boat that I bought a few weeks ago. Packed loads of stuff. Bought a secondhand dinghy from the local boat sales place here, rowed out to my boat and the dinghy started sinking. Slowly at first and then boom, it was gone and me and all of my stuff were in the water. I had my very heavy backpack on. The duvet managed to wrap itself around my left arm and body and was pulling me down. At this point I thought I was going to drown. I managed to somehow free myself from it and swim to my sailing boat and reach up and cling on. Anyone who knows boats however, knows that you cannot pull yourself up out of the water. So there I was clinging on to my boat, backpack still on and wondering how long it would be before my arms gave way and things got even worse. Well, the world’s most wonderful bloke in a rib saw me and sped over. He got my backpack off and I got into his boat. He saved my life. Back on dry land and I assessed the damage. My Fujifilm xpro3 is deceased. Totally filled with water. Various other electronic items are destroyed. That involuntary swim has cost me thousands of pounds and no, there is no insurance I can claim from. I’ve lost it. The dinghy should never have been sold. If I’d had more experience I’d probably have realised that before getting in it. At least he’s refunded me the purchase price! So I’m sat in soaking wet clothes in the sunshine outside a pub now. I’ve booked a hotel and I’m going to have a glass of wine. Or two. Or three and reflect on an exciting Thursday. Just not exciting in the way I’d hoped. P.s. I’m sure there are those who will wonder whether I made parts of this story up. Well I didn’t. It’s exactly as I’ve told it. It was actually worse than I’ve told it. So I’m poorer and somewhat fed up about that. Anyway, cheers 🥂

@stellacreasy You really are an utter dimwit aren’t you? You people don’t live in the real world, you are clueless about how the average hard working British person is struggling to manage. Wheeling out Rachel from accounts, who’s even thicker than you, wasn’t a master stroke.

🚨 JOHN TRAVOLTA JUST BROKE HIS SILENCE ON THE BERET — AND THE INTERNET THINKS IT CONFIRMS EVERYTHING After days of people spiraling over his sudden new look at Cannes, John Travolta finally explained the reason behind the beret. According to Travolta, the entire thing was intentional. He says he studied legendary Hollywood directors from the 1920s–1960s and created the look so he could instantly recognize this era of his life and career whenever he looks back at photos years from now. But somehow… the explanation only made the internet even MORE suspicious. Now people are flooding the comments with theories: • “That’s not what people are noticing” • “His distraction is working” • “Why does this feel so calculated?” • “Nobody’s actually focused on the hat John” Be honest... what do you think John Travolta is really trying to distract people from? 📹: CNN / Apple TV

Lard ass bakery bandit steals HALF a cake maker’s entire stock from her honesty-box shed without leaving a single penny Sabina Seidel, 39, from Spalding, Lincolnshire, opened her dream Treat Street Bake Shed in March 2026 using a simple honesty system with a QR code for card payments and a cash box. On 9 May, between 7:25pm and 8pm, a pony-tailed man in a red T-shirt calmly walked in, filled a plastic bag with 25 home-made cakes and cookies worth around £80, licked his lips, tried the cash box, and strolled out. Sabina, watching on her hidden CCTV, initially thought he was a customer paying and even thanked him as he left. She only realised the theft when she saw the open door and empty shelves. Lincolnshire Police are investigating and have confirmed no arrests have been made..yet

They're talking on the news about what defines 'British'. The ability to moan about the weather, no matter what it is, but if it's perfect on that particular day, moan about what it was like yesterday, or forecast to be tomorrow. Job jobbed.

@lukeakehurst I wonder what percentage of parents who put their children into breakfast clubs actually work. I’ll hazard a guess that there is a significant number who just use this service so that they can spend more time in bed. It shouldn’t be available to idle benefits claimants.

This attack on Breakfast Clubs from a Reform council leader is ignorant. Breakfast clubs aren't just about nutrition, they mean the child is more ready for formal classroom learning as they have already been in a school environment for c45 mins. They enable working parents to get to work earlier and earn more. And having visited some in my constituency it is obvious the children enjoy being there!

Sorry, call me old fashioned but I believe it’s the parents’ job to give their child the best possible start to the school day.
