My response to Ariel Helwani -The entire fight week you chastised Sean and made it a point to talk about how he went “too far” how you didn’t agree with what he was saying in the press conferences and now you’re upset he apologized? Being a man is also taking accountability for what you say when you’re wrong and Sean is man enough to do that and he did it on a world stage. In a time when we need less division ESPECIALLY with the HUMAN RIGHTS CRISIS going on between Israel and Palestine wouldn’t you want to see two people of separate beliefs and religion come together and make amends? And now you make a joke of it? And let’s not forget, things were said on both sides and in the end all you saw was love and respect between Sean and Khamzat. I feel quite strongly about this: You cannot do what Strickland did and say the insane and vile things he said in the buildup to that fight, then tell us seconds after the fight is over, “I was just trying to sell the fight.”
If you’re going to take us on that ride, you have to take us on that ride until the very end.
That was the biggest bunch of bullshit I’ve ever heard. That is fraudulent. You cannot just walk back all the crazy things you said.

Did you know that cigarette smoking in the United States has dropped to the lowest level ever recorded, even as vaping continues to gain popularity?
According to new data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), only 9.8% of U.S. adults smoked cigarettes in 2024, down from 10.8% in 2023.
This is the first time the rate has fallen below 10%.
The decreased smoking rate has been attributed to vaping, and people using vapes to quit smoking.

While recreational smoking and vaping is not advised, many people use short term vaping as a way to quit smoking cigarettes, which are arguably more toxic than vapes. During his 2024 campaign, President Trump made a clear promise on Truth Social: “I saved Flavored Vaping in 2019, and it greatly helped people get off smoking. I raised the age to 21, keeping it away from the ‘kids.’ ... I’ll save Vaping again!” He warned that the Democrats wanted to ban everything and kill small businesses across the country. Yet now, under Trump-appointed FDA @US_FDA Commissioner Marty Makary @DrMakaryFDA, the agency has rolled out new guidance that makes it much harder for flavored vaping products to stay on the market. The FDA says flavored vapes, including fruit, candy, and sweet flavors, pose a “substantial risk to youth” and are more appealing to kids than plain tobacco flavors. This guidance is being called a de facto ban on flavored options for adults who can make the choice themselves when it comes to vaping or not vaping. The move ignores strong evidence that many adults use flavored vapes to quit traditional cigarettes. Additionally, CDC numbers show youth vaping has been dropping, hitting its lowest level in years. Trump’s promise was straightforward: protect vaping as a tool to help smokers, support small businesses, and keep it away from kids.
