@GoBlueNatty @Metaleka_ The NCAA gets tips like this almost daily now. They don’t run down things unless there is validity to the claim. And what they consider valid evidence is a high bar.

@Metaleka_ If the NCAA accepts his "investigative work," they are setting a dangerous precedent for lunatic fans coming from rival fans bases everywhere trying to take down the opposing school. I'll use his disclaimer, "I dont know what the NCAA will do."

@unaveragefan Lots of kids there just need support and a pathway out of gangs and they can thrive. Yes, if he weren’t athletic he may not have been helped so much, but they aren’t necessarily easy on those kids.

@unaveragefan Maybe in some regards he got the benefit of doubt. However, knowing the Glenville leaders in the community especially the football ones, it isn’t what you think it is, nor what is portrayed

They aren’t even trying to hide academic fraud….

@unaveragefan I mean, I don’t know about fraud. But saying the guy had a .4 GPA is extremely incorrect. You literally are ineligible to play college sports with a .4 GPA in high school.

No. Because other teams were doing it too! And they don’t want the microscope to ever be on them. Dig into any successful team of the last 25 years and EVERY ONE OF THEM will have hidden rules violations. You are being ignorant if you don’t think OSU or bama or ND or Indiana or any of the top programs come in with extreme confidence and detailed intel of their opponents

@MiamiCanes1971 You mean shared due to technical defaults? If ‘97 Michigan was in a BCS system, they would have been No.1 in the BCS. Nebraska didn’t have the same resume as Michigan at all.

Nobody under the age of 80 is old enough to remember Michigan winning a Natty that wasn’t shared or tainted by a cheating scandal
