@Verratus_Speaks@chalavyishmael@NYCMayor Would you agree that Trump could literally cure cancer and the left would find some way to bitch about it? Tell us that it’s the secret sign that fascism is here and democracy is over.
When we came into office, we uncovered a $12 billion budget deficit.
Today, I’m proud to say we brought it down to zero.
We didn’t close the gap on the backs of working people.
We closed it while funding parks, libraries, safer streets and making historic investments in public housing.
Call it Pothole Politics. Call it Democratic Socialism. It's government that delivers for the people who make this city run.
That’s what New Yorkers deserve. And that’s what we will keep fighting for every single day.
@Anarkrist@awesr532198619@TheOmniLiberal Stop saying the same thing like a npc. Republicans are the one blatantly breaking the constitution. The fact that you post an example of One dem candidate who says that dems must respond to republicans unconstitutional actions shows you are low iq.
@Anarkrist@awesr532198619@TheOmniLiberal You can’t have one side disobey the rules while the other follows them. Why aren’t you mad about republicans breaking the rules first????????
@NoahTopper@shanewallick@TiminJillsson@LinkofSunshine Oh the argument is still wrong. Chattel slavery isn’t a good comparison to meat eating. If you want to convince people to reform the meat industry use economic arguments. I feel they are much more effective.
It occurs to me that you think Aella’s point is “eating meat is as bad as slavery”, which is not at all her point. Her point instead is that the kind of reasoning that leads you to be complacent about eating meat would also have made you complacent about slavery. This argument does not assume in any way that cows and black people are equivalent.
@CarolineSeydel@xav_moss@atlanticesque It’s a bunch of three word sentences. It’s not good at all, and never would have been in any time period. Never had to read it but confused by this discussion.
@katee_K1 It's an unfortunate accident but no need to assault people for that and ignoring your injured kids.
I'm not defending the driver but that 2 kids jogging from behind the stroller and from driver's view is a easy miss. Well he drove too fast and too close to people any way
A crisp evening in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. Manda Haines held her two young children’s hands as they stepped into the crosswalk. In seconds, former sheriff’s deputy Gunner Vuocolo’s car slammed into them, sending little Raelynn and Eli flying through the air like broken dolls. Their screams tore through the street as they hit the pavement.
Manda rushed to her injured babies, confronting the man who hit them. Raelynn, who once dreamed of becoming a police officer, is now terrified of cops. The family’s trust is shattered, their sense of safety gone forever.
Vuocolo faced charges — reckless driving, endangerment — but on April 28, 2026, he quietly entered a diversion program. No trial. No conviction. No criminal record. He walks free.
A mother’s plea for justice went unanswered. Two children’s lives forever changed, while the man who hit them faces zero real consequences.
BASH: You and your fellow Democrats have used some heated rhetoric against the president. Do you think twice about that when something like that happens?
RASKIN: What rhetoric do you have in mind?
BASH: That he's terrible for this country and so on and so forth
@J_Donghammer@covie_93@atrupar When you call someone Hitler over and over again you are literally telling them it’s ok to kill literal Hitler. Why is no one trying to kill Mamdani after Trump called him a socialist or Marxist? Bc it’s not the same as HITLER. This starts w the SPLC and Biden and Dems using…
@Jumbowc7n@JoJoFromJerz@atrupar In your wet dream maybe, it's not happening. You commies aren't nearly as powerful as you think, also there will be a revolt that will strike back at you commies hard. Something like what happened after the Floyd incident.
