@CitrinitasX @Kristinartz I was unabashedly bawling on the bus home from school reading the end of the book after having watched the film. (I was in high school)

MY THOUGHTS ON HANNAH HARPER WINNING AMERICAN IDOL
My husband told me that a Christian stay-at-home mother won American Idol last week. I responded, “That’s too bad. She won’t be a stay-at-home mother any longer.” I used to watch that show, but I grew bored with it. I saw other full-time mothers tell the judges on their first audition that they were doing this for their child/children. How is leaving home often and touring around the nation helping the children? Yeah, they’ll have nicer things, but so what? They want a full-time mother.
I watched the entire video of her performances. She is beautiful, humble, and kind; her voice is incredible, and I appreciate that she always dresses modestly. She sang a few Christian songs, but of course, the judges encouraged her to become more worldly. She said that she wanted mothers with young children to know that they, too, can have small children and still pursue their dreams.
I don’t doubt she is a Christian or that she deeply loves her husband and children. He quit his job to care for the children while she pursues her career. They’re looking for a large bus now so her family can tour around with her to her singing engagements, and I am sure she will have many. She will one day be rich and famous. She has everything she needs for this. Is this a good goal for women?
Will she regret it someday? Will she begin to fit into the world as many Christian singers do and water down Scripture and dress immodestly? Will her and her husband’s marriage survive? The percentage of marriages where the husband cares for the children and the wife is the provider has dismal divorce statistics. (God is our Creator. We can always trust Him.)
God commands women to be keepers at home, and men to be the providers for their families. I believe wholeheartedly that His ways are perfect. Our dreams, as Christian women, should be to live in obedience to God’s will, not have dreams apart from His will. Children prefer a home with a backyard, and their own bedrooms and toys, with their mothers home with them rather than living in a bus for a long time. It may work for a while, but after a time, they will want to go home. I pray she decides to do the right thing for her children.
I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.

@SuchIsLife_05 @rationalaussie That enforcement is rather selective because of lack of integrity.
English

@SmokingisCool1 @rationalaussie Cool. So without “coercive” institutions, who enforces contracts, breaks monopolies, handles fraud, funds public goods, deals with free riders, and maintains courts and police?

I have never met a single leftist who understands, or even believes in, incentive systems.
They are quite literally incapable of understanding that level of abstraction.
They think people just do stuff and that if you don't do good stuff for the world (they define what is good) you are a bad person.
They have the worldview of a child.

@Sassafrass_84 There’s a difference between segregation imposed by power and community spaces created for safety, comfort, and healing. Wanting a Black wellness space doesn’t mean someone is “enslaved in their mind.” It may mean they’re tired of being the only one in the room.

@SuchIsLife_05 @rationalaussie Incentive? Ha! You mean coercive.
English

@rationalaussie Hilarious take considering unions, taxes, welfare, public healthcare, subsidies, fines, labour laws and carbon pricing are all literally incentive structures.
You just don’t like the incentives ya fkn bot

Don’t vote for the person. Vote for the policy. Compare my policies on homelessness to theirs:
PRATT:
-Mandatory drug treatment
-Send home addicts who were bussed in from out of state
-Enforce the law
BASS & RAMAN
-Put addicts in overpriced housing and let them do drugs next to your kids’ school
-Give methheads free pipes
-Make YOU pay for new teeth for said methheads
How is this even a race?

One of the best jokes ever written is by norm Macdonald.
“No one has ever said ‘I want to make love to your ass.”
So simple. Sodomy is about dominance and submission not love. Always. It’s why the deceptive narcissistic control freak types are all homos. It’s their sexual identity. They’re either in control or they are being controlled. Force. Humiliation. Grooming. Sex is a projection of your inner world.
Norm told everyone that with a laugh. But your subconscious got the message. Genius

This is exactly how you deal with the “lack of diversity” claim. You need to mock the absurdity of it. Push back. Do not give the woke an inch. This should have been how Christopher Nolan dealt with it. Instead he followed the woke guidelines and desecrated a masterpiece.

We need to have a serious discussion about how to fix these teen takeovers. Nearly EVERY time, the crowd is OVERWHELMINGLY Black, but we are not allowed to notice that because that's racist... ...so how do we fix this? Seriously, what is the ACTUAL solution here???
