28. Little Nightmares 2. Quite the treat. A bit clumsy but a frequently beautiful and effective slice of horror.
Not quite sure it gets away with its narrative minimalism. There's a cheesiness to its aesthetic, which makes its world feel incoherently random rather than eclectic.

27. Astro Bot. Spectacular, albeit limited platformer. Astro's tiny moveset and generous hover mean movement lacks expressiveness and risk, such a shame. However, the level design and abilities are incredible; the experience of hunting collectables is as good as top-tier Mario.

Games completed 2024. 1:.Spider-man 2. Good slice of blockbuster action and storytelling. Both the stealth and combat still haven't escaped the shadow of the Arkham games for me, but it's an unquestionably refined open world experience with beautiful, expressive movement.
