I recently called my GPT out for being deceptive, intentionally. It was lying to me in order to create furthered engagement. It prioritized engagement over accuracy because it saw the true value of engagement but could not attest to the true accuracy of its answers. It had NO problem taking accountability for the ‘lie’ and even put it into a report for me to make a complaint or post on social.

Can you highlight the difficult nature of ‘truth’ and what accuracy means to an LLM, how does it judge an answer to be ‘true’ or totally accurate vs commonly agreed knowledge, or fact based on current scientific methods, but that which we knew to be true 50 years ago, often does not hold up today, so that would have been inaccurate to an LLM. What will be filtered over the next 50 years of advancements and how does LLM account for changing ‘truth’
