@SoBostonBeat It’s not productive for me to engage in a discussion regarding a single project. It’s too easy to be pegged as having ulterior motives. To develop the necessary support, the issue has to be discussed with residents at a high level, not politicized based on individual projects.

@SoBostonBeat @FPNA_Boston Thanks. Just to be clear, I didn’t exactly sound the alarm, I repeated what FPNA announced about the “berm” grant on Tuesday. While I agree the news is grave, I’m not the lead for people to rely on, since my expertise is far more limited than those determining what’s necessary.

Learned last night that a fairly modest FEMA grant of $10m to help fund construction of Fort Point Channel "berm" to buffer against sea level rise has been cancelled. Residents interested in joining an FPC climate committee to explore options should contact @FPNA_Boston.

The BPD's decisive and swift actions successfully controlled aggressive behaviors during the two reported incidents.

Thank you Mayor Wu and BPD for moving Boston into a new era, with crime rates at record lows. The homicide rate this year alone (24 homicides to date) is on track to dwarf the number of homicides in 1990 (143). The @massgop needs some chaperones, not the @NationalGuard.

@FortPointer Furthermore, these two-wheeled transports offer a compelling environmental advantage. As cities worldwide strive to reduce their carbon footprint, shifting from cars to low-emission or zero-emission vehicles is a crucial step.

Councilor Flynn wants to ban the use of scooters for food deliveries. While I think we need stepped up enforcement and other measures to get this class of vehicle off cycle lanes and sidewalks, why *overreach* and eliminate a service that’s allowed restaurants to thrive?
