ZCash z-to-z txs get traced all the time. Also tbh the Centralized Bicycle Company is never going to do what you’re asking. They’re too busy trying to make ZCash even more traceable to prevent delistings, or turn it into an ETH L2 or whatever. You should just fork it, and shed your false gods.

My personal priorities for bitcoin improvements are: 1. Privacy 2. Usability 3. Scalability in that order. If it's not private, it's not worth using. And if it's not usable it's not gonna grow big enough to need scale.
