Some people completely missed the point.
If you want to vote for physical games, buy physical games.
Canceling PS Plus isn't a vote for physical.
"I'll give Sony 0$" isn't a vote for physical.
"I'm not buying a PS6" (that doesn't even exist yet) isn't a vote for physical either.
Buying physical games is.
If you believe physical should remain an option, support physical releases while they're still available. That's what companies actually notice.

Dziś oficjalnie skończył mi się Plus, a ja jako odpowiedzialny i trzymający się swoich zasad człowiek powiedziałem do widzenia dla tych wrednych korposzczurów.
Zabawne jest to, że nawet i mnie próbowali utrzymać tą zniżką 50% na kolejny miesiąc, lecz mój zdrowy rozsądek na szczęście zadecydował inaczej.

People keep saying this, but these percentages do not include free to play games, PS+ games or DLC, because that would be stupid. I don’t get why so many viral posts are claiming this. The % is full game paid sales via digital download (which does include digital only games)

The thing that @PlayStation don’t seem to understand is, the niche of physical collectors are often older fans (like myself) who have been loyal to PlayStation since psx.
My collection isn’t vast, but it’s a lifetime of memories immortalised on shelves throughout my home.
You name any of these games and many years after buying them, I can still put the disc in a console to play them, even if I ignore my console for 10 years I can still do this without fail. It is not ok to remove this from loyal consumers…. Let alone ignore them when they’re upset at the brand for shitty decisions.
Please PlayStation, reconsider your digital only decision, there’s still a chance for you.

So it turns out Black Flag Resynced's pre-orders are 5.39 times higher on Steam than what AC Shadows managed at the same stage before release... That is definitely quite the difference.
Also it's revealed now that AC Shadows sold 5.7 million total copies.

Tu nie chodzi o przeprosiny, tylko o to, żeby dali jakąkolwiek alternatywę, skoro nie chcą produkować płyt. Likwidacja nośników fizycznych zwiększa monopol PlayStation i mogą sobie wtedy narzucać wyższe ceny, czego przy nośnikach zrobić nie mogą. Apple dostało przymus zezwolenia na sklepy zewnętrzne, Sony też powinno.

I still don't think I'm fully understanding the outrage at not having physical discs for games.
Is it cool to have a physical copy? For sure, I still buy physical quite a bit. But is it necessary to enjoy a game?
After so many years of gaming and then going back to specific games, a big part of the experience of the games I loved was who I was when I played them. What was going on around me at the time. Who I was playing them with.
I don't need my original Halo: CE disc to taste the late night, Mt. Dew and pizza fueled LAN parties.
I don't need my original Pokemon Yellow cart to remember being 10 years old and hiding under the blankets playing the game when I was supposed to be sleeping.
I don't need a physical copy of Gauntlet Legends to remember the multiple all-nighters we pulled on that game.
I don't need a disc copy of League of Legends to hang out with some of my best friends that I've met because of the game.
It will always be incredible to be able to relive those memories by replaying a game, but maybe it should be more about the experience than buying something.
