March 2026: Human Rights Crisis in Balochistan PAANK has released its Human Rights Report – March 2026, documenting the continuing pattern of enforced disappearances, torture, and extrajudicial killings across Balochistan. According to the report, 56 cases of enforced disappearances were recorded during March 2026. Among them, 22 victims were later released after reportedly enduring severe mental and physical torture. The report also documents 29 confirmed cases of extrajudicial killings during the same month. Enforced Disappearance of Pervez Baloch Date: April 20, 2026 Location: Jinnah International Airport Karachi PAANK expresses serious concern over the enforced disappearance of Pervez Baloch, son of Musafir, a resident of Ornach in Khuzdar. According to available information, Pervez Baloch returned from Muscat on the night of April 20, 2026, to spend time with his family. Update from Imam Hassane, the Director of the Islamic Center of San Diego: “We are safe. The entire school is safe. All the children and teachers are safe. There are a few casualties not confirmed yet.” As of now it appears the security guard died saving the children from this terrorist attack.

Enforced Disappearance of Kambeer Khan PAANK strongly condemns the enforced disappearance of Kambeer Khan, son of Ali Muhammad, a 25-year-old student of Archaeology at Quaid-i-Azam University and a member of BSC Islamabad. According to reports, Kambeer Khan, a resident of Zehri, Khuzdar, was forcibly disappeared on 16 May 2026 at approximately 9:00 PM near I-8 Markaz, Islamabad. The abductors are reported to be personnel associated with the Special Branch, operating in a vehicle bearing registration number MR-527. His disappearance has once again raised serious concerns regarding the safety and security of Baloch students, many of whom continue to live under fear, surveillance, and harassment. The repeated targeting of Baloch students cannot be normalized. Educational institutions and public spaces must not become environments where students are persecuted because of their identity and political background. 💢 New: Five Palestinians Killed in Israeli Strikes Across Gaza Five Palestinians were killed and others wounded Sunday in Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip, according to Palestine Online, as Israeli forces continued the 220th consecutive day of ceasefire violations. ▪️Three were killed in an Israeli drone strike near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza: Ahmed Salem Abu Asad, Abdul Rahman Ahmed Muheisen, and Ibrahim Rayyan. ▪️In Khan Younis, a drone struck a group of Palestinians near the Rafah garage, killing Abdullah Ahmed Abu Mustafa and wounding several others. ▪️Israeli forces also shelled eastern and southern Khan Younis, the eastern areas of Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza, and fired heavily east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in northeast Gaza City. ▪️Israeli naval vessels fired toward the Gaza City coastline with no injuries reported. Since the October 11 ceasefire took effect, 870 Palestinians have been killed and 2,543 wounded, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, including three killed on Saturday.
