@wormjohnson So the way this would normally work for myself is I would buy the "new" remote/fob, and then program it when comes in. I've never done a GM but we can surely try!!!

@davepl1968 Costco just used a renamed retail pricing service as does Sam's, and is rarely the best price. I explored them on a lark years ago and was flat told by a Toyota dealer they can give me a direct price better than the services. I suspected it, but that confirmed it.

Go through Costco. I haven't done this for at least five years, but you're then dealing with the fleet manager, who uses a formulaic price outside their control.
The dealership will treat you like an afterthought because they don't make much off the deal, but that's part of the satisfaction.

I cannot begin to express how much I hate car dealerships. I am spending $700 per week in fuel using a big diesel truck for quotes right now. It wasn’t intentional, it just worked out that way. I need a quote truck by Monday. It will literally save me $400 per week, including the price of the truck! The process of buying it is absolutely atrocious. The chit chat, the pushing for you to buy something you don’t want, the back and forth on options, the upsells, the inventory checking. What I want is very simple and clear. I’m looking at 15 of them on your lot right now. Why do we have to do this stupid dance? Just take this check, let me know when it’s ready to pick up. Bye! This is the reason my personal vehicle is a Tesla. I just go on the website, fill out my information, and click buy. Having to buy all these trucks for the company means I’m doing this awful song and dance multiple times a year and wasting literally days worth of my time. In the last 12 months I’ve probably drank 2 gallons of coffee at car dealerships. 🤦♂️

I loved the NBA the most when it was about hard work and magical moments. Luka hitting a game winner, Curry hitting several 3s in a row (Bang! Bang!), Jokić making an unreal pass. MJ hitting that ‘last shot’. Unforgettable.
What is not fun is watching SGA flop and foul bait, OKC handcheck, trip and get away with it, and reading stat nerds salivating over some BS stats or streaks. Bam breaking Kobe’s record with 43 FTs is everything that’s wrong with the NBA today. No ethics, no morals, but telling fans how they should feel.
No, the NBA in 2026 mostly sucks! The more they go away from traditions and focus on numbers, stats and nerds pushing narratives, the less are fans enjoying it. The MVP award has become a joke, the NBA media has no credibility anymore.
Something’s gotta change, we need to get back to when the game was rewarding ethical hoops, or more and more fans will tune out. I’m already watching 50% less games than before.
