You should always be striving to tell a story so good that it stops being yours—so your customer learns it, loves it, internalizes it, owns it. And tells it to everyone they know.

Apple has mostly stopped advertising on Twitter. Do they hate free speech in America?

Is it too much to ask that Twitter be run by someone who treats people with decency & respect? @elonmusk either needs to become that person or pass it on. If we all copy his style, I fear Twitter will go down in flames.

The largest consequence of Elon taking over Twitter may well be not any specific policy decision he makes, but rather the morale effect of his supporters feeling emboldened and his detractors feeling like they are arguing on enemy territory. This is happening already.

Looking at @elonmusk’s latest tweet about @BillGates. Elon is a brilliant, unkind, and tremendously insensitive human being to post what he does. He has no business owning and running Twitter.
