Les Touaregs font la guerre depuis l'indépendance ouvertement pour des raisons ethnistes: ils veulent gouverner leur propre état entre eux sans avoir à se mélanger avec les peuples du Sud. Ils se considèrent different

This idea of a rigid Tuareg racialized order is exaggerated. How can that claim hold when majority of Tuareg Amenukal, or supreme leaders, have historically been very dark-skinned, and many Tuareg nobles? The people most invested in creating this pseudo-hierarchy were often European anthropologists, who were obsessed with portraying the Tuareg as descendants of “white” people.
They pushed similar racial theories about the Tutsi in Rwanda, using colonial ideas to separate African societies into artificial racial categories.

You see, black South Africans are acutely aware (though they will usually claim otherwise) that their higher standard of living relative to other African countries comes from their proximity to the whites and the white created economy. They view fellow Africans as competitors for the scraps that fall off the white man's table and want to protect their turf. They are not wrong. Honestly, I can't hate them for that. They're acting rationally.
What the neighbouring African countries can do is Recolonisation - to invite the former colonialists back to develop their countries to the same standards as the Whites did in South Africa. That way, their citizens won't have to flee the country in search of better economic opportunities in South Africa.
But of course we know this will never happen.

@jamesonen You are entitled to your opinion as you know. Black South Africans are aware of the imbalance and put in legislation to effect change. That is why Whites are lobbying Trump and Elon. Funny that no African country of Africans in particular ever took SA's side against Trump.

@jamesonen But a lot of development in SA has taken place after the end of apartheid under a black government. Why are you underplaying that in your assessment? All of us were colonised, just that most of the continent has failed to rebuild from post colonial systems.
