@Thaifootballpod @cmaseanfootball @mar1878 @mjbarns1990 Only for Asia, so the runners up will get the spot for winning the cup if the cup winners win the league and get acl elite for example. Runners up then qualify for the cup winning spot as long as they are in the top division and in the top ten teams of that division or so

@cmaseanfootball @Thaifootballpod @mar1878 @mjbarns1990 Wrong mate, only reason cup runners up didn't qualify was because there was a little ruling next to it saying that the runners up must be in the top half of the premier league in that country, stupid rule but that's what decided Heidelberg decision in Asia

@mar1878 @Thaifootballpod @mjbarns1990 We've already had this whole discussion (painfully) in Australia. Cup runners-up do not qualify for ACL football. It goes to the next league ranking, in this case BG Pathum United.

@FootyRebel Why don't st Kilda vs Fremantle want gws and all the low attended interstate teams. 20k would look mad there and provide a good atmosphere, id even go to those matches

2 of the 4 light towers are fully installed at the #Junction #Oval. Please tell me that the ground will host Friday or Saturday night #Football. It would be perfect if #StKilda #VFL could play their home games there. If so, they'd probably get a few thousand spectators.

I've learned a lesson recently with Thais. I mistakenly thought if you paid them more for working harder, they would be happy. Wrong. They just aren't interested in hard work. They do the minimum and complain about it. #thaitwitter #thailand

Melbourne Victory acknowledges the following update from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).  AFC has advised Football Australia that Heidelberg United FC is ineligible for the direct AFC Champions League Two (ACL Two) slot under AFC regulations. As a result, Melbourne Victory will receive the direct ACL Two slot.  More information available via the story below 👇 melbournevictory.com.au/news/afc-updat…

Pharaohs Phetchaburi United didn't show up today either, so there is no game at Muangnont United. The home team will get awarded a 3-0 win, which also happened a week ago when Pharaohs didn't show up. More fines to be paid for the club. 🙄

@FutbologyThai I thought petchaburi fc disbanded in like 2014 or so, are they the same team? The stadium in petchaburi is lonely and could do with an upgrade

@FutbologyThai So the Egyptian owner is shifty? He seemed shifty when listening to him on the Thai football pod. Hopefully petchaburi gets a proper team one day!
