Not really. She could have backed up and went the other way very easily. Look at all that open space behind her. They allowed her to get in her car. You even had some of the people backing other people off her.
No, this drunk woman made a decision to hope a curb and run over people on the sidewalk when she could have easily just backed out and exited at the exit.
She could have also gone over to the 2 police men standing on the street corner a few feet away, as well. They would have escorted her out an exit. She didn't do that though because she knew she was about to drunk drive.
She will be found guilty of crimes she was charged with. No doubt about it.
