@CalFreiburger 2 generally good conservative content and it deserves support to that extent from obvious hit pieces. It’s not a so what if that happens because then the conservative sphere is occupied by grifters. That’s all I’m getting at

@SoxNationSLC Weird contemporary trend of framing everything that happens as an "operation" aside, sure its enemies are trying to take it down. So what? Some even worse people oppose them; that doesn't automatically make them good.

@CalFreiburger What would you call the concerted on line effort to diminish the Daily Wire’s standing in the conservative community if not an operation? Call it a Soros like effort in reflexivity if you want. The Daily Wire isn’t good because it’s being attacked. It’s good because it produces 1

@CalFreiburger Do you genuinely not see that there is an operation in which the Left and the Woke Right are trying to take down Daily Wire? It seems pretty clear to me and it’s deeply malevolent on several levels.

All credit to Ben's stand against Tucker, Candace, Fuentes, etc. as far as it goes, but let's face it: they're an easy target. Their influence on the Right is not zero (see the Heritage Foundation), they're wildly overstated. Nobody genuinely valuable cares if you go after them.

Whether you agree with him or not though, Ben is taking a stand in a very aggressive way for a certain side of things within the conservative movement and the larger Trump coalition. When Joe Biden was in power, it was easier to focus fire on a common enemy without fracturing a broader conservative audience. But since the relevant fight has largely turned within, I think Ben has been willing to spend his influence pushing what he believes in at the expense of friendships and followers. I don’t endorse everything he has said and done. But I respect that choice as a matter of principle. His media platform may be eroding to whatever degree, but what he has gained is the success of his positions in the world and an influence within the administration and the leadership of the Republican Party that has palpably shifted the direction of the nation. He may not be as wealthy for it at the end of the day. But I expect he is ultimately happy with that exchange.

There was a time, not very long ago, when Ben Shapiro could reasonably call himself the king of all conservative media. That’s all over now, writes political columnist Ross Barkan. Shapiro’s company, ‘The Daily Wire,’ is instituting significant layoffs. Its YouTube channel’s subscriber base is starting to shrink, and its website has emerged as one of the great traffic losers in conservative media. There are ‘Daily Wire’ YouTube videos that now, after a few days online, have less than 10,000 views, a catastrophically small number for a channel with more than 3 million subscribers. The top comments all mock the low view counts. “If a variety of poor business decisions can be blamed, in part, for the ‘Daily Wire’’s fall from grace — ill-fated investments in feature films, an epic fantasy series, and peculiar merchandise — the greater story is the collapse of Shapiro’s constituency,” writes Barkan. “There are two realities to Shapiro conservatism in 2026: It retains a significant foothold among Republican elites, and it is fast being rejected by the future grassroots of the party.” Read more: nymag.visitlink.me/KtpIKV

Jason Chaffetz confirms w/ Deseret News he is considering a run for Utah governor in 2028. Top GOP consultants/donors across the conservative spectrum say he's doing a lot more than considering. He's trying to secure a lead before the race even begins. deseret.com/politics/2026/…

Utah has 3 Supreme Court seats set to open. You know what never happens, Democrat nominated judges NEVER turn out to be flaming conservatives. This absolutely NEVER happens. Democrats NEVER miss. Why do Red States, especially Utah, miss so badly on our judges? A coin flip at best. Just find the conservative equivalent of "former ACLU lawyer" and APPOINT THAT! ALL Three! Just do that.
Alexis Ence@alexisence

With 3 Utah Supreme Court seats set to open, I’m hoping Utah joins the wave of Republican wins sweeping the country. The future of our courts matters. 🇺🇸

I have never really liked Michael Knowles. I also don't dislike him...just don't find his opinion relevant I used to think it was because he wasn't smart enough to say anything interesting But he's not dumb...he can sometimes contribute Michael's problem is that he's spinless
Jackie Chea ⚖️@Fair_and_Biased

This clip of @michaeljknowles talking about Tucker irritates me for two reasons: 1.) Knowles often manages to talk about very divisive ppl without giving an actual opinion. Was Tucker WRONG, Michael, or is his renunciation of Trump just neutral? 2.) He keeps drawing distinctions between Tucker’s announcement and petty podcast wars. I think that’s a distraction. Knowles was forced to confront this because Tucker was so direct, but the “podcast wars” have not been petty. They have always been about Tucker (and Candace and their ilk) sabotaging Trump’s agenda with some very unsavory tropes and allegiances, and this instance was simply too obvious to be dismissed. youtu.be/ChhAaa51pD8?si…

@biglawbro Quit now. It’s never going to be the right time. The younger you are when you leave, as long as you have enough experience to go solo, the better in my opinion. Left big law in 2020, best financial and life decision.

@foxonabox_ Because, as it happens, much of the bad judicial work of late has been done by women judges. In earlier generations, it was done by men and may very well be done by them again. But you do you

@Toxic_LDR @LanceTHESPOKEN You mean getting caught is the problem? Not the cheating itself? That's a pretty damning indictment of the HOF voters and the NFL itself.

What Cowher is saying is probably 100% true. But that's not the point. The point isn't "well, everyone cheats." Belichick got CAUGHT cheating....multiple times. Whether you agree or not, being caught cheating does matter to voters.
Nik Athans@NEdraftNik
