You work at Deloitte so you don’t have to worry about losing your job to a foreigner willing to take a 50% pay-cut. This is something the waiter at your favourite restaurant has to deal with. This is what the construction worker next to your office park has to deal with. The car guard outside “Pantry” has to deal with this. It’s not a coincidence that many of these jobs are taken by foreigners. You live in a gated community with 24-hour surveillance so you can sleep peacefully at night. You don’t live in central Joburg next to buildings hijacked by foreigners that house drug dealers/users and criminals. You buy your fresh food at Woolies so you rarely have to worry about your food being spoiled. Your child isn’t sick because they bought repackaged rotten food at the Somalian spaza shop down the road. This is why I’ve been enjoying the content from the digital nomads infiltrating Cape Town. You didn’t see an issue when poor people were complaining about the effects of mass-immigration. But now that your favourite coffee spot is charging you R70 for a latte and your rent has almost doubled—now the “government has to do something” 😂 That’s why it’s very important for you to shut TF up if you come from a place of privilege.

Running you’ve taken that little boy from the streets of Giyani in South Africa 🇿🇦 to running on one of the world’s biggest stages at the @LondonMarathon 🇬🇧 3:08:21 today, far from the time I wanted but what an AMAZING experience, the crowd? Oh my word! I’ll tell you all about it, for now let me go celebrate yet another milestone and 9 years of a beautiful relationship with running♥️ Thank you all for backing me up, always ♥️

In the month that the Ellis Park disaster happened, we have to explain to “football fans” why it’s a bad thing for the SABC flex that there were 101K fans at the last Soweto Derby in a stadium that accommodates max 94K and gets capped below 90K for safety reasons. Unbelievable

I would start Rice at 6 for the last 5 PL games, have Eze and Ode as dual 8s and Saka/Noni/Max on right and Gabby/Tross/Noni on left. Start with Havertz at 9. Go for it from the off. Trust the CBs with Dec in front to be solid, your 2 FBs to step up and support whenever they can. Everyone else, can come on to rest players when game allows. Don't take the handbrake off, detach the fucking thing and launch it in the Thames. Die fighting if we have to, don't go like milksop wankers.

Village Lawyer ⚖️🇿🇦👆
The youth unemployment rate in South Africa is depressing 😞 The figures are even understated they don't fully capture what's on the ground. I was at the village coupleof weeks ago, no one is working ...even those with qualifications My friends and relatives are getting old and they have never been employed ever in their lives. It's a hopeless situation. We can't go on like this

SA needs to be studied. I can't explain how tax revenue continues to rise while jobs continue to drop. This is beyond just compliance. I suspect we are losing low paying manufacturing jobs for few high paying engineering/scientists jobs in banking.
Newzroom Afrika@Newzroom405

[BREAKING NEWS] SARS revenue collection hits R2.01 trillion in 2025/2026. It's up 8.4% - thanks to stronger compliance. #Newzroom405
