If the Red Sox were to deal for Zach Neto, @alexspeier believes Franklin Arias would be part of the return. “The Sox were willing to discuss Arias last year in deals for Twin hurler Joe Ryan or Arizona slugger Ketel Marte. His value has gone up since those conversations, but if the Sox want one of the potential jewels of the trade market such as Angels shortstop Zach Neto, Arias would be a necessary price.”

It’s going to be really hard to move Ceddanne Rafaela out of the No. 2 spot in the lineup once Curtis Mead is here tomorrow.
I’m really interested to see how Chad Tracy fills out the lineup card. This is how I would approach it:
Mead — 2B
Rafaela — CF
Abreu — RF
Contreras — 1B
Yoshida — DH
Durbin — 3B
Duran — LF
Monasterio/Cheng — SS
Narváez/Wong — C

Andruw Monasterio has been on a heater, but there’s obviously a roster move coming for Curtis Mead soon.
