@bbCaulk @DJSnM Yes, this could certainly be the case with a completely new V3 Ship & Engine setup.

@SpaceJunkie64 @DJSnM Possibly. I still think it is a software problem. The new engines do not perform exactly like the models suggest. Now that SpaceX has real flight data, they will tighten up the software.

That pirouette at the end may win style points but surely it’ll make it hard to catch.

It's a 7 from me, two main concerns for me.... 1 - Raptor 3 performance generally & yes, I realise it is their first flight test. losing one on ascent (fair), some failed at boost back & landing burn (maybe a result of the first loss &/or hot staging method/issues), plus an RVac on ship. 2 - Hot staging. Some concerns with how this was staged/planned. However, this is seemingly an easy fix though unless there were other underlying issues to be worked through. Flight 13 needs to be sooner than later though and must build on from flight 12.
