@retiredgeo0416 @whykikiasks @ikwilson Bruce Pardy will tell you that the minute we are independent, Canada's constitution does not apply. However, it sounds like the Treaties would be transferred. Likely the majority opinion. Then, the nations could renegotiate if they wish. Up to them.





I agree with the flow chart, but not the timescale. If we win the Oct. 19 vote, I believe the key independence referendum will be in February or March 2027. And just as a general FYI for everyone: there is no “blackout rule” for holding a referendum in an election year. That rule applies to Citizen Initiative Act petitions, not referendum votes.


Alberta has contributed $600 billion+ to the rest of Canada since 1967. The last 10 years, more than $200 billion - or $20 billion+ per year. And yet, in the last five years, Alberta has experienced a period of prolonged economic stagnation & decline. alberta.ca/announcements.…
