@JojoNitq_ @odedanilo I’ve had the same number for circa 20 years! It’s simple and easy to port a mobile number across. It’s also possible to take your landline number with you if you move to another property within the same exchange area.

@its_The_Dr I don’t care about the colour of suits worn, but am I the only one who find the way the guy sitting across the aisle from Trump is disrespectful? Legsout into the aisle, legs akimbo?!

@Lloydmporter I wouldn’t bother any further, she’s clearly just a food snob who clearly doesn’t struggle for money for food!

@Lloydmporter @SpiritKitten @SandyofSuffolk You are a tool, you want families living off next to no money, and can make one meal from a fiver, try & sustain good meals for a fiver every day for a family of 5.

@_we_love_food Absolutely yes, very versatile, but I also eat fresh tuna steaks as well, maybe a once per month treat… marinade, sear quickly so it’s still rare, serve with stir fry!

@Lloydmporter I love a whole chicken… salads, sarni/wraps, stir fried rice, fajitas, sweet and sour, pasta, all easy to do cheaply. Asda currently have 1.7kg chickens for £3.79, can’t go wrong! And if I don’t have chance to roast it, bang it in the slow cooker while working upstairs!

@SpiritKitten Exactly that! I was going to say about the whole chicken too! Couple of meals there! Glad I’m not the only one, getting a lot of shit for this. Lmao.

@Lloydmporter I love a good “throw it all together” fried rice… micro rice, whatever veg, meat and prawns available, bit of garlic, ginger and chilli, lashings of soy sauce… bingo. Tasty, relatively healthy and cheap meal, using up leftovers! Buy a cheap whole chicken, does tons of meals!

@SpiritKitten Agree’d. same goes for chicken and rice, or roasted veg. I often hit the reduced stuff, had lamb steaks and roasted veg for about £1.30 the other day. Froze a £6 pizza that was going for £1.25. Last night I spent £34 on a Chinese for two people though, so swings and roundabouts!

@Lloydmporter It can easily be done for £5! Even if cheating and using a cheap jar of sauce/sachet mix if they don’t have time to cook from scratch. Veggies can be bought cheaply when on offer and you don’t use the whole lot for one meal! Chilli is the same. This person is a complete snob!

@SpiritKitten No, not at all! This confusing person trying to talk about random people’s culinary preferences. I can just cook a spag bowl for a £5, I didn’t think it was that controversial! Thanks for backing me up!

@Lloydmporter I hope that wasn’t directed at me as I was merely proving that it can be done for £5!

@Annakopite @SpiritKitten @SandyofSuffolk Are you taking the piss ? First you say can’t do it cost X then you pivot to this when you’re wrong, make your mind up. I said I could cook spag bol for £5 I don’t care what other people like ffs

@Annakopite @Lloydmporter @SandyofSuffolk There are always offers on veggies. Tesco 5% fat mince is currently showing as £4.19 for 500g, so no idea why you paid £6 unless you bought organic? 28p for a pack of spaghetti. I work full time & still struggle to afford food but why should I pay to feed other people’s children?

@SpiritKitten @Lloydmporter @SandyofSuffolk Veg is only 8p for Easter, I paid for 5% fat steak mince £6 in Tesco last week, you still need pasta. People don't understand how trying to feed a family good nutritional food is expensive. There are families out there who work as well with not much money.

@Annakopite @Lloydmporter @SandyofSuffolk Circa £3.80 for 500g of 5% fat minced beef in most supermarkets! Bulk out with some veggies (some of which are currently 8p in certain supermarkets), couple of tins of cheap chopped tomatoes, garlic, dried herbs, job done! Or use a cheap jar of pre-prepared sauce.

@capewella @anon_opin Try living in a rural area, we don’t have trains! To get to the nearest train stations we’ve already done our commute by car! How is it living upin your ivory tower?! 🙄

@anon_opin Surely commuting by car should be banned? The train is a much more pleasant way to get to work. Cars are for awkward and unusual journeys, not routine journeys done every day.
