Physical media isn’t dying, it’s stabilising. After 20%+ drops in 2023–2024, the decline slowed to 9% in 2025 ($870M US). 4K Blu-ray is actually growing (+12%), driven by collectors and Gen Z. This isn’t a collapse, it’s a shift toward premium, niche releases.

I have missed out on a lot of modern AAA titles as I mostly play retro and indie games. Which leads me to a confession. I have never played Elden Ring. It's a game that I really want to play. Everything about seems like I would love it, but I just haven't yet. How badly do I need to play this right now?

@Spoofington1 @Nintendork9 @Fabrazz @atari Well actually lol Not everything does kill you ! The ice creams do not. Also once you kill something in the level they never re appear again even if you die ! Once you work out the layout and progressively get the enemey's it gets much easier

@GamewithDave I'm fine with Tubi for free, or paying for a month. Most of the movies on streaming aren't worth watching more than once. People treated the DVDs and VHS of those movies like crap the 1st time around, and now they wanna sell you new Blue Rays? *Fart* Only rare stuff needs help.

Mario Party was freakin awesome on the N64, playing with my buddies. As I grew older, I think I landed on Mario Party 6 as my favorite. It has a day-night cycle for the game boards and it came with a microphone for some of the mini games. I haven't played much of the newer games as they just didn't feel the same. That's fine by me as there are 7 Mario Party's that I do enjoy.

I’ve played Mario Party 🎈 They’re fun! But I didn’t play Mario Party when it first came out because I was in college. There was several years where I didn’t play video games. In a way I’ve always felt like I missed out. I’ve played Mario Party in the years since! We bought the first few Mario Party titles for Game Cube several years ago but sold them because… honestly we didn’t play them enough to justify keeping them. Have you played Mario Party? Do you have fun memories? Maybe in your college dorm? I want to hear your stories!
