@YardsPerPass They could do a round robin tournament, where you play the other seven teams in your conference that make the playoffs. And if you’re the higher seed, you play the game at home then the top four teams advance to the elimination round

Random thought... In the NFL, if you are the higher seed, you get to play that playoff round at home. What if NBA/NHL did the same thing? All games in the series at the home team. Would that make the regular season matter more for those leagues?

@SportsMedZ @Mike_Bundt That wouldn’t have been a boost. He’s a veteran future Hall of Famer. But now he’s the oldest slowest member of that blue line. We would’ve victimized him every chance we got. Against us, they would be better off with him out of the lineup.

I understand why Sabres fans prefer to play Tampa in the 2nd round but my preference from the beginning has been Montreal. I’ve gone back and forth. We can talk about how they matchup and their regular season games but one thing is undeniable, Lightning are more complete team!
