Do I want Parker Kingston to be proven innocent? 100% Do I want Parker Kingston to go to jail if he’s guilty? 100% Both things can be true. Just gotta wait for all the facts to come out.

The charge is irrelevant to them. What they care about is if he committed the crime or not. Which if he did he is immediately expelled which most if not all school would do. But if it’s found that he and the girl had consensual sex then they would give him some sort of penalty according to the honor code that byu has set up.

@_johnleone I think it’s already obvious byus stance on all of this. Especially with the retzlaf situation last year. The girl said she maid it up and byu still said he couldn’t play for most of the season.

Unless I’m mistaken by how this whole thing is playing out, BYU has to determine what’s more important: Their image or winning. I guess we’re going to find out how much of a missionary tool BYU athletics truly is🤷‍♂️

The lack of critical thinking from Utah fans and critics like yourself is genuinely baffling. I agree with how disgusting tape is and that he should be the scum of the earth. But that’s if proven guilty. And that’s why we are defending him. After a year of investigation there’s no genuine evidence to convict other than a text thread that doesn’t prove anything.

@n8rix @OwnHimLuka So this is pretty hypocritical. I am LDS and a huge byu fan. He broke the honor code yes but this happened over a year ago. He also got a temple recommend this last winter. It’s obvious that if anything did happen he’s gone through the repentance process.

@OwnHimLuka No defense for Parker. He broke the honor code and is no longer welcome at BYU. If he raped the girl, I hope he gets the maximum punishment. That crime is abhorent. If he is found innocent, I'd like to see the accuser held accountable through a civil suit.
