However I note that the PO Scandal court cases were packed with disclosure failures. Subpostmasters, charged with false accounting, were denied access by Judges to their branch accounts. Essentially the argument was "I believe the PO" —> Jail.

This is not true. But because this lie was told, without challenge, they voted guilty.

@MySweetLandlord This is why it mattered so much how and why cases came to be selected, and deselected, and why without an explanation that wasn't Letby's presence it was utterly prejudicial and evidentially valueless to allow the constant presence argument. Goss flunked it. Simple as that.

@ContrarianJolly BS Whitworth (+BS Fine) at 55deg was likely universal in The Empire until just after WW2. UK then moved to US based threads at 60deg. The Morris 1000 (1948) was all Whitworth, Mini all US based threads. Of course that didn't last long and UK is now all ISO Metric. I asked grok
