Most management simulators or tycoon games ask players to just run a business, but Let's Build a Dungeon asks players to build game engines and entire games inside the simulation as well. We chatted with Springloaded founder James Barnard all about it. "I started thinking about how people outside the industry would also find the emotional rollercoaster of game development really interesting, and that’s where the concept started to take shape. We added a background style editor to Let's Build a Dungeon so you can control everything from the background of your MMORPG, to the sprite layers drawing over the top. It makes creating a custom world super easy, with just a few checkboxes helping you to make something totally unique. #gamedev #indiedev

@gamelawless Definitely half the fun haha! But we've been spending a lot of time creating systems that don't let things get too complex too quickly. Taking some balancing but we're getting there :)
