This is the biggest cultural split in crypto. Bitcoin was formed as insurance against government spending & inevitable inflation debasement. "Crypto" born from Bitcoin, an industry built on smart contracts designed to work within the regulated economy. Clarity Act affirms this.

An under-discussed, but important aspect of the US economy is how the jobs data does not account for lots of new types of jobs that previously didn't exist. Podcasters, YouTubers, influencers, video clippers, full-time retail investors, various gig economy jobs, drop shippers, individual consultants, life coaches, etc. It may sound like these are small things, but tens of millions of Americans are working these "jobs" and receiving income. It feels ridiculous to point out these "occupations" as material to the economy, but almost every young person I know how some form of income coming from these types of work opportunities. Not sure how much different the job data would look if you could accurately measure these roles. I just never hear the mainstream economists acknowledging the fact that young people's number one dream job is a YouTuber. That feels like an important change in the economy.

Instead, history shows us the exact opposite. Take Amazon as an example. They have created millions of jobs over the last 30 years. Amazon pays a minimum wage of $15/hour and most people start at $18/hour or higher. And Jeff Bezos created a service that lets you push a button on your phone and almost anything in the world will get delivered within days. Literally a modern day miracle that has had a profoundly positive impact on hundreds of millions of people.
