@Matty_OW so what does that mouse offer over the superstrike or is it just more comfortable , i can understand it not providing anything to you but I imagine that the superstrike checks all the boxes that the superlight 2 does and more if you want to change it for example polling rate

@ThourCS2 -noreflex/llm on, rtss limiter reflex mode at 220fps, 240hz g-sync, gave me the best latency/stability. 5800x3d/4090/3800mhz16cl hand-tuned

@fREQUENCYCS @CounterStrike Try windowed mode, it uses independent hw composed flip for me (w1124h2). Fullscreen windowed seems broken as it only uses composed flip. It was not like that before

Did you gentlemen change the presentation model by design? @CounterStrike Last time I checked (see x.com/fREQUENCYCS/st…), both fullscreen and fullscreen windowed would use hardware-independent mode. But now, setting it to just fullscreen uses legacy flip. This was 100% not like this, I purposely tested it back in June. I downloaded an older build to verify and i am correct! Manifest ID: 22407870285191913 – build around the time I made the post: both hardware-independent. Manifest ID: 2316377845725320724 (this patch) – hardware-independent on fullscreen windowed, but legacy flip on fullscreen. When did this change? :P

@RestTarRr @fREQUENCYCS @CounterStrike @FPSHEAVEN Reflex its something in between, that's why it needs to be implemented with the developers, setting prerendered frames to 0 with the least amount of stutter, but even if they try to perfectly synchronize the CPU and GPU you still affected by CPU stutter, hence the bad frame times

@RestTarRr @fREQUENCYCS @CounterStrike @FPSHEAVEN Yes, in game frame limiter will always have the lowest latency, but you will have more stuttering, so its a tradeoff. You decide, lower latency worse frametimes (ingame limiter) or 1 frame extra latency and better frametimes (external frame limiter).

Ditch fps_max and lock your framerate from the driver. fps_max 0 , -noreflex , framerate lock from the driver. Why does fps_max have such big negative difference? @CounterStrike
