Key words in the post “schools that have genuine interest”. If there is no communication/interest by phone or text, you are wasting your time and money. Don’t blindly attend unless the coaches are communicating by phone and have expressed true interest. Not just a mass email invite.

My son turned 10 today. Went 2-2 at the plate. Made some great plays in the field.
He also allowed his first home run. 12yo all-star took him yard. Ryan went over and congratulated him and came back and threw a strike with the next pitch. That’s what I’ll remember.

If I’m a high school hitter in the new “5 to play 5” eligibility era we’re about to enter in to in college baseball, this would be my path…
Find a JUCO where I can PLAY for two years and get hundreds of at bats…and all of my entry level course work done…then…
Transfer to a four year school, and still have THREE full seasons to play, and get my bachelors degree.
In the “5 to play 5” era, going somewhere that you won’t play really doesn’t make sense…unless it’s your dream school.

@R1dack1415 @HPBAac Why? My model would make the entire NCAA 22 years old or younger. Go to college get 4 years weather that is at JUcO for 2 or 1 you only get 4 years of eligibility. Your JUcO years count. If Tennessee wants to bring a kid from JUcO cool you only got 2 years with them
