The bloodthirsty regime has taken another of Iran’s children. Amirhossein Hatami took to the streets on January 8th and 9th. For that, he was put through a sham trial, denied any defense, and murdered by this regime. At least four more protesters—Mohammadamin Biglari, Shahin Vahedparast, Abolfazl Salehi, and Ali Fahim—face the same fate at this very moment. The world must act before more blood is on its hands. To the Iranian people’s killers: Iran will be free and we will remember your names. You are sealing your own judgement.

Mr. @SecMullinDHS, as you step into your new position I ask you to provide particular consideration to the status of Iranian students and professionals in the United States who may be at risk of immigration complications due to Presidential Proclamations 10949 and 10998. Many of these individuals fled the Islamic Republic’s because they believe in freedom, democracy, and the values this country stands for. They are also contributing to the United States every day. They arrived in this country legally, followed the rules, respect this country and its system of law and order and are among the most dedicated and accomplished contributors to American society. This morning, I woke up to the heartbreaking news that 18-year-old Amir Hossein Halatmi has been executed by the Islamic Republic. The regime executed an innocent boy who had committed no crime; he only wanted freedom and basic human rights! There are thousands of my innocent sisters and brothers who are arrested by this brutal regime, and maybe they are next. This regime never stops committing these crimes and must end soon.
