@JohnnyCrambo Someone broke into my storage unit and stole the majority of my TMNT items (figures, comic books, you name it). It knocked the wind out of my sails and I pretty much stopped collecting TMNT for a long time. Hate seeing this, especially to someone who seems like a good guy 😔

This guy PokeDean had his entire collection stolen from his house. And it was a SERIOUS collection. Years of building, special items from ppl in the community, etc. Hundreds of thousands of dollars gone. Couldn't imagine having to start over like that. Keep your stuff safe 🔒 I wouldn't know what to do if this happened to me, I would probably be completely dead inside. Because this is a lifestyle for me and many others, and we really love this Hobby. It's half our lives basically. Really feel for the guy...

i went to my bank last weekend to withdraw $10k in cash to buy pokemon cards at a show banker: hello sir, what are you taking this money for? me: because i want to take out cash banker: i need you to give me a specific reason for our records me: it's for a card show banker: a car show? why do you need cash? me: card show. pokemon cards. the vendors mainly deal with cash. banker: why would you need to spend that much money on cards? me: ... banker: one second, let me check with my manager. next time, please call ahead! it really didn't feel like it was my money. i ended up leaving and just borrowing cash from my friend.
