Congrats to Stella Hoft, on receiving an F30 award from NIDDK. This will support her research and training to become an outstanding physician/clinician-scientist. The research will generate critical insight into how inflammation promotes the development of stomach cancer.

@rishirajgoel @amylizbaxter @facts___matter @10xGenomics Very upsetting. I recently ran a 10X experiment with some expired beads that we had just to see if they would work. The unexpired window is pretty quick if you ask me (~12mo). I had no failures with the run but the cDNA QC had 0 cDNA. Make sure you’re reagents aren’t expired!

Rishi's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad Saturday in lab: Months of planning, >1 BILLION cells used, 18 hours of pipetting/sorting super rare cells (with excellent purity s/o @amylizbaxter @facts___matter) Only to get a wetting failure on the @10xGenomics chip... 😐
