The seminal body of #AI work of 3 women scientists was not even acknowledged in the segment on facial recognition that aired last night. Yet @CBSNews @60Minutes were fully cognizant of its existence and impact. This is unacceptable and a full explanation is warranted

This work was not led by NIST. It was led by @jovialjoy, @rajiinio, and @timnitGebru. Really disappointed to see this @60Minutes segment. Joy says she spoke to the producers for many hours and yet they still chose not to feature her work.
